Price gap between the EU and US widens

Eastern EU origins in particular took a step upward
Western EU origins remain mainly traded in a range of EUR 650-750 ex works, whereas prices of Eastern EU origins have risen a little in the past month to EUR 600-700 ex works. Permeate also move up in line with SWP but availability remains better than in most other dairy categories.
Americas
Price range remains stable
Permeate continues to trade within USD 0.20-0.25/lb (440-550/t) ex works. As long as availability remains as strong as it is, demand is unable to push prices out of this range.
